Today we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first 9-1-1 call and look forward to the next 50 years of #NextGen911. Thank you to the first responders and dedicated people taking calls across the country! Fifty years after that first call, it could take the form of voice, text, or video. What has not changed, most importantly, is that fast and reliable emergency communication.
