Members Engage Public in Fight to Protect Americans from Health Law's Uncertainty, Unfairness, and Looming Rate Shock

August 1, 2013

WASHINGTON, DC – House Energy and Commerce Committee members took to Twitter today to communicate directly with the public on how the health law’s burdensome and costly mandates are impacting families and businesses. With CMS Administrator Marilyn Tavenner testifying before the full committee, members highlighted recent developments in the implementation of Obamacare that make it painfully clear that the law simply is not ready for prime-time. From the recent rate shock in Georgia and Ohio, to further reports of the part-timing of America, there have been more questions than answers on implementation.
