The Committee on Energy and Commerce met in open markup session on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, and took the following actions:

H.R. 1534, the "Mercury Export Ban Act of 2007", was ordered favorably reported to the House, amended, by a yea-nay vote: 45 - 2.

The following amendment was offered:

A manager’s amendment offered by Mr. Allen, # 1, was adopted by a voice vote.

H.R. 3461, the "Safeguarding America’s Families by Enhancing and Reorganizing New and Efficient Technologies Act of 2007", was ordered favorably reported to the House, amended, by a voice vote.

The following amendment was offered:

An amendment offered by Ms. Bono, # 1, was adopted by a voice vote.

H.R. 2601, the "Do-Not-Call Registry Fee Extension Act of 2007", was ordered favorably reported to the House, as amended by the Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection, by a voice vote.

The following amendments were offered:
