The Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet met in open markup session on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, and took the following actions:

Committee Print on H.R. _____, the “Broadband Census of America Act of 2007” was favorably forwarded to the full Committee by a voice vote.

No amendments were offered to the Committee Print.

H.R. 3403, the "911 Modernization and Public Safety Act of 2007", was favorably forwarded to the full Committee, amended, by a voice vote.

The following amendments were offered:

An Amendment in the Nature of a Substitute offered by Mr. Gordon, #1, was adopted by a voice vote.

An amendment to the Gordon Amendment offered by Mr. Doyle, #1A, was withdrawn.
