H.R. ____: Energy Advancement and Conservation Act of 2001, was considered.  Title IV - Boutique Fuels, was pending when the Subcommittee adjourned.

The following amendments were offered:

An amendment by Mr. Whitfield, #1, re: depleted uranium hexafluoride, was adopted by a voice vote;

An amendment by Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Largent, #2, re: indemnification authority of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mr. Sawyer, #3, re: transportation of nuclear waste, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mr. Strickland, #4, re: development of gas centrifuge technology and decommissioning and remediation of outdated facilities, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mrs. Wilson, #5, re: prohibition of commercial sales of uranium by the United States until 2009, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mr. Burr, #6, re: elimination of duplicative antitrust review, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mrs. Wilson, #7, re: cooperative research and development and special demonstration projects for the uranium mining industry, was withdrawn by unanimous consent.
