An amendment by Mr. Largent, #11, re: use of interval data in Federal buildings, was adopted by a voice vote;

An amendment by Mrs. Wilson, #12, re: definition of 'energy savings'; Federal central air conditioner and heat pump efficiency; Federal Energy Bank, was adopted by a voice vote;

An amendment by Mr. Shimkus, #13, re: biodiesel fuel use credits, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mr. Markey, #14, re: air conditioner energy efficiency rules, was defeated by a yea-nay vote: 12-19;

An amendment by Mr. Bryant, #15, re: Federal central air conditioner and heat pump efficiency, was adopted by a yea-nay vote: 16-15;

An amendment by Messrs. Burr and Largent, #16, re: to delete 'motors' from the DOE and EPA study of extension of Energy Star labeling program, was adopted by a voice vote;

An amendment by Mr. Markey, #17, re: energy conservation standards for consumer and commercial appliances, was defeated by a yea-nay vote: 13-17;

An amendment by Mr. Markey, #18, re: automobile fuel economy, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mr. Cox, #19, re: changes in funding level and state allocations of Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mr. Cox, #20, re: General Accounting Office study of effect of LIHEAP and other government energy subsidies on consumer energy conservation and energy efficiency investments, was adopted by a voice vote;

An amendment by Mr. Pickering, #21, re: changes in funding level and state allocations of LIHEAP, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mr. Bryant, #22, re: elimination of diesel fuel phase-in period, was adopted by a division vote: 11-5;

An amendment by Mr. Burr, #23, re: automobile fuel economy, was adopted by a yea-nay vote: 29-3;

An amendment by Mr. Barton, #24, re: National Academy of Sciences study of feasibility and effects of reducing use of fuel for automobiles, was adopted by a voice vote;

An amendment to the Barton amendment by Mr. Markey, #24A, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mr. Ganske, #25, re: advanced meter technology, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

Three amendments offered en bloc by Mr. Waxman, #26, re: energy strategies to address global warming; blackout and price gouging prevention; establishment of the State Match for Affordability, Renewables Technology and Energy Efficiency Fund, were withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mrs. Bono, #27, re: landfill gas facilities, was adopted, amended, by a voice vote;

An substitute amendment for the Bono amendment by Ms. McCarthy, #27A, re: renewable energy production incentive, was adopted by a voice vote;

An amendment by Mrs. Wilson, #28, re: assessment of renewable energy resources, was adopted by a voice vote;

An amendment by Mr. Shadegg, #29, re: exemption of pipelines from National Historic Preservation Act, was withdrawn by unanimous consent;

An amendment by Mrs. Wilson, #30, re: creating a National Energy Council, was withdrawn by unanimous consent.
