An amendment to the Barton amendment by Mr. Stupak, #1C, re: costs of training described in sec. 1804 to include full-time, part-time, and volunteer first responders, was adopted by a voice vote;

An amendment to the Barton amendment by Mr. Stupak, #1D, re:amending the National Telecommunications and Information Administration Organization Act to establish a Public Safety Communications Trust Fund, was withdrawn with no objection.

H.R. ____, Satellite Home Viewer Extension and Reauthorization Act of 2004, was ORDERED FAVORABLY REPORTED, AMENDED, by a voice vote.

The following amendments were offered:

An amendment by Mr. Upton, #1, substituting a new Title II for the bill, was adopted by a voice vote;

A further amendment to Title II, without objection, by Mrs. Cubin, #2, re: required tests of reception, was adopted by a voice vote.
