• Committee Resolution offered by Mr. Tauzin regarding the committee rules for the 106th Congress was adopted by a voice vote.
• Committee Resolution offered by Mr. Oxley regarding the number of subcommittees and their jurisdictions was adopted by a voice vote.
• Committee Resolution offered by Mr. Bilirakis regarding the number of Members on each subcommittee (ratios) was adopted by a yea-nay vote: 23-19.
• Committee Resolution offered by Mr. Barton regarding the subcommittee chairmen was adopted by a voice vote.
• Committee Resolution offered by Mr. Upton regarding the Republican membership of each of the subcommittees was adopted by a voice vote.
