The Subcommittee on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection held a hearing titled, ‘Consumer Protection in the Used and Subprime Car Market’ at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2009, in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing explored the current state of consumer protection in the auto market, with particular attention to purchases by lower income individuals.
