The Subcommittee on Health held a hearing titled, "H.R. 847, The James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act" on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, in 2322 Rayburn House Office Building. This hearing examined H.R. 847, the James Zadroga Health and Compensation Act of 2009. This bill would establish first responder and community treatment and monitoring programs to help people affected by exposure to toxic air and other debris after the attack on 9/11.
