The Subcommittee on Health held a legislative hearing on Wednesday, October 7, 2009, in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing focused on the following bills related to breast cancer prevention, research, treatment, and quality of care:  H.R. 995, the Mammogram and MRI Availability Act of 2009; H.R. 1691, the Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act of 2009; H.R. 1740, the Breast Cancer Education and Awareness Requires Learning Young Act of 2009; and H.R. 2279, the Eliminating Disparities in Breast Cancer Treatment Act of 2009.
