The Subcommittees on Commerce, Trade, and Consumer Protection and on Communications, Technology and the Internet held a joint hearing titled, "Driven To Distraction:  Technological Devices and Vehicle Safety," on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building.  The hearing examined safety issues concerning drivers distracted by wireless or other electronic communications devices built in or brought into the vehicle.
