On Thursday, June 20, the Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade Subcommittee and the Energy and Power Subcommittee will hold a joint hearing on “A Competitive Edge for American Manufacturing: Abundant American Energy.” The hearing will explore how new technologies and innovation are unlocking domestic energy resources and helping to revive American manufacturing and bring high-paying jobs back to America. On June 3, the House approved two committee priorities – S. 622, The Animal Drug and Animal Generic Drug User Fee Reauthorization Act, and H.R. 1919, the Safeguarding America's Pharmaceuticals Act.
