WASHINGTON, DC – This evening, the House of Representatives passed S.622, the Animal Drug and Animal Generic Drug User Fee Reauthorization Act of 2013 by a vote of 390 to 12. The legislation would reauthorize the Animal Drug User Fee Act (ADUFA) and the Animal Generic Drug User Fee Act (AGDUFA) that expire at the end of Fiscal Year 2013.
WASHINGTON, DC – This afternoon, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1919 the Safeguarding America’s Pharmaceuticals Act of 2013, by voice vote. The bipartisan legislation, authored by Rep. Bob Latta (R-OH), would enhance the security of the pharmaceutical distribution supply chain for America’s patients while preventing duplicative federal and state requirements from being imposed on drug manufacturers, wholesale distributors, and pharmacies.
