LIST OF HOUSE AND SENATE CONFEREES TO H.R. 2990

HOUSE:

On November 3, 1999, the Speaker appointed conferees - from the Committee on Commerce for consideration of the House bill, and the Senate amendment, and modifications committed to conference:  Bliley, Bilirakis, Shadegg, Dingell, and Pallone.

The Speaker appointed conferees - from the Committee on Ways and Means for consideration of the House bill, and the Senate amendment, and modifications committed to conference:  Archer, Thomas, Johnson (CT), Rangel, and Stark.

The Speaker appointed conferees provided, that McCrery is appointed in lieu of Johnson (CT) for consideration of title XIV of the House bill and sections 102,111(b) and 304 and title II of the Senate amendment.

The Speaker appointed conferees - from the Committee on Education and Workforce  for consideration of the House bill, and the Senate amendment, and modifications committed to conference:  Boehner, Talent, Fletcher, Clay, and Andrews.

The Speaker appointed additional conferees - from the Committee on Government Reform for consideration of section 503 of the Senate amendment and modifications committed to conference:  Burton, Scarborough, and Waxman.

The Speaker appointed additional conferees for consideration of the House bill, and the Senate amendment, and modifications committed to conference:  Goss and Berry.

SENATE:

On October 15, 1999, the Senate appointed conferees Jeffords; Gregg; Frist; Hutchinson; Nickles; Gramm; Enzi; Kennedy; Dodd; Harkin; Mikulski; Rockefeller.
