Committee Internship and Fellowship OpportunitiesThe Committee on Energy and Commerce is currently accepting applications from college undergraduates or recent college graduates, as well as those seeking fellowships. Committee interns will work with staff to gain a greater knowledge of the legislative process in the House of Representatives and the Committee’s role in this process. Undergraduate interns may be assigned to work with the staff at the full committee or one of the Committee’s six subcommittees. Duties may include entry-level duties, such as research projects, preparation for hearings and markups, as well as a variety of administrative duties. Those with fellowships will be assigned to a specific subcommittee and work closely with counsels providing research and hearing/markup preparation. To apply, please send via e-mail a cover letter and resume addressed to "Intern Coordinator, Committee on Energy and Commerce " (please note if you are under age 21 and whether you are a U.S. citizen).
