After 2K Days, Members Highlight Why It’s #TimetoBuild

#WHY2K – Members Take to the House Floor to Urge Action on Keystone XL

WASHINGTON, DC – Led by Rep. Lee Terry (R-NE), members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee took to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives last night to highlight an unwelcome milestone in the Keystone XL pipeline’s review. Rep. Terry and other members lamented the fact that 2,000 days have now passed since the initial application to build the jobs and energy project was first submitted to the U.S. State Department. Praising the project’s benefits for jobs, the economy, energy security, and the environment, members urged the president to stop the needless delays, make a decision, and approve the permit.
