WASHINGTON, DC – The Energy Subcommittee, chaired by Rep. Fred Upton (R-MI), today scheduled a hearing for Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 10 a.m. in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing is entitled, “Department of Energy Missions and Management Priorities.” Department of Energy Secretary Rick Perry will testify as the sole witness.
#SubEnergy will examine the Secretary of Energy’s vision for managing and executing the department’s missions. Next week’s hearing will also inform members on the opportunities to update and align DOE’s missions and operations with the emerging energy, national security, environmental, and technological challenges confronting the nation.

I also look forward to hearing more about Secretary Perry’s vision for the department in the nation’s ever-changing energy landscape.”
