E&C Announces Health Subcommittee Markup of 9 Public Health Bills
Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Health Subcommittee Chairwoman Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA) announced today that the Health Subcommittee will hold a markup on Thursday, November 4, at 10:30 a.m. (EDT) in the John D. Dingell Room, 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
“On Thursday, the Health Subcommittee will mark up 9 bills that invest in our nation’s public health and provide much-needed resources and support to caregivers, providers, and patients,” Pallone and Eshoo said. “The COVID-19 pandemic has stressed our health care system for nearly two years and it’s important for Congress to provide additional support to those who’ve been on the front lines. We must also continue to enhance our overall public health to better protect children and families, including through critical preventative care. We look forward to advancing these important bipartisan bills that will improve quality of care and the well-being of the American people.”
