Cmte Sends Letter to NHTSA, EPA on Transparent Fuel Economy Rulemaking Process
WASHINGTON, DC – House Energy and Commerce Committee leaders sent a letter today to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) supporting their transparent, deliberative process for proposing the Safer Affordable Fuel-Efficient (SAFE) Vehicle Rule, which addresses the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards and Light-Duty Vehicle Greenhouse Gas Emissions standards for Model Years 2021-2026.
