Chairs Rodgers, Guthrie Announce Health Subcommittee Markup of 17 Bills

Washington, D.C. — House Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and Subcommittee on Health Chair Brett Guthrie (R-KY) today announced a subcommittee markup of 17 bills.

“Our committee continues to prioritize lowering health care costs, expanding access to treatments, strengthening Medicare, and bringing price transparency to patients. Additionally, we’ll discuss legislation to protect access to care in rural and underserved areas, extend programs that support workforce development, expand competition in the organ transplant network, and ensure safe and effective animal drugs for our pets and livestock. We are grateful for the amount of engagement and feedback we’re receiving from across the aisle, from the administration, and from stakeholders throughout this process and look forward to a productive subcommittee markup.”
