Excerpt: "There are specific allegations in the public domain relating to Miami-Luken’s distribution of opioids. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is attempting to revoke Miami-Luken’s Certificate of DEA Registration. In support of this action, the DEA has alleged that Miami-Luken failed to maintain effective controls against diversion of controlled substances. It has also alleged that Miami-Luken failed to operate a system to disclose suspicious orders of controlled substances when it shipped controlled substances, particularly oxycodone and hydrocodone, to customers in the Appalachian tri-state area of southern Ohio, eastern Kentucky, and southern West Virginia."
