Rep. Ellmers: “It’s the number one reason today… employers are not hiring”

Rep. Guthrie: “Employers and families across Kentucky have expressed serious concerns… wondering if they will lose their coverage, be forced to choose different providers, or be saddled with enormous new costs”

Rep. Burgess: “It wasn’t the way it was supposed to work”

House Energy and Commerce Committee members Rep. Michael C. Burgess, M.D. (R-TX), Vice Chairman of the Oversight and Investigations and Health Subcommittees, Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC), and Rep. Brett Guthrie (R-KY) took to the House Floor on Tuesday evening to highlight the impact Obamacare is having on the nation’s job creators. The members also previewed Wednesday’s Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee hearing that featured testimony from small business owners on the costs and challenges of complying with the president’s health care law.
