In Southwest Michigan, #Cures2015 “is about both quality of life and the economy”

Last month, House and Senate Republicans put forward draft legislation to protect a free and open Internet. The legislation would accomplish the goals all sides share to enact strong consumer protections in a way that leaves job creators the incentive to continue innovating and investing in state-of-the-art broadband networks.
Last summer, the residents of Toledo, Ohio, experienced a major water emergency due to an increased presence of harmful algal blooms in Lake Erie. This unwelcome situation left 500,000 people, including families, hospitals, and businesses, unable to drink tap water.
