House Unanimously Approves the FCC Consolidated Reporting Act

WASHINGTON, DC - The House of Representatives today unanimously approved the FCC Consolidated Reporting Act, H.R. 3310. The legislation, introduced by Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), consolidates the reporting obligations of the FCC to improve transparency and oversight while reducing regulatory burdens. It is companion legislation to H.R. 3309, the FCC Process Reform Act, which was approved on March 27, 2012. Taken together, the bills aim to improve the transparency and consistency of FCC operations.
