Chair Rodgers Announces First Energy and Commerce Hearing
Washington, D.C. — House Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) announced the first hearing of the 118th Congress, which will focus on restoring American energy dominance and strengthening U.S. economic, environmental, and national security:
“Energy is foundational to everything, from our economic to our national security. It’s all connected, and the U.S. has consistently been at the forefront of energy innovation and technological breakthroughs, all while leading the world to reduce emissions. I look forward to convening this important first hearing to determine how we can restore American leadership by flipping the switch and unleashing American energy.”
